Due some court decision in Denmark a lot of Danes working in the United States will return home in the future including my father. I think that this brings an end to the chapter in my blog where I had to deal with living apart from my father, which I had done since my mother passed away until my father left for his job over in the U.S.

3 Danish businessmen were yesterday convicted of smugling some drugs to the United States. There was no evidence and they had made no money of their business and due to family connections and businesses which were going well they had no motive to smuggle drugs. But some criminals over in the United States got some huge discounts in exchange of testifying against the Danes, so they were convicted on these testimonies only.

So Danish firms are pulling Danes out of companies in the United States and hiring local workers instead which can be sacrificed much easier. Among those who will return is of course my father and I am so happy. He may have to settle for less pay or no job at all but even unemployment would be better than risking jail if one of his business connections feel like making a story up.

He will be back end february and then we must see if we can find a place to live together.

I believe that this building company he used to work for - Per Aasleff - should be avioded at all costs. They don’t treat their employees every well and I guess that they push their employees to work hard and get from work place to work place as fast as possible.

It is double standard and properly only a stunt for the marketing department.

Now it is 2011. If it turns out as good as 2010, I cannot complain.

Of course I could have been living in the United States right now, but I guess that I would have missed out a lot of things if my life had gone in that direction.

Now I am enjoying my life. I am not missing out on anything. We have a lot of parties. My life with my cousin has turned into a kind of agreement about what is expected of me when renting a room at his place.

School is OK. The school I do counts regarding my future education. It would not have been the case if I had attended school in the States. Our standards are simply too high, so also here has 2010 turned into being a win-win situation.

In general I couldn’t have been more happy.

I can only hope that 2011 will be as good as 2010.

Karl was in his normal grumby mood. He had an awful night at work.

My parents are busy working. My dads firms is involved in some kind of takeover again, but the owners have been fighting over the shares since june this year so it is not something new. I really loves Skype. I started to use it because I believed that it was supposed to be me who should communicate with my friends here in Denmark and now I am sitting here and talking to my folks in the States. That’s heavy!

I was supposed to watch the game between AGF and some soccer club from Fyn today, but just as I was about to meet my friends I could see that they had something going with some policemen, so I turned and walked away. I did later hear that they didn’t get to see the match due to some biased cops.

I mentioned earlier that some of my clothes seem to illustrate a political viewpoint. It is like a red cloth being waved in front of some cops. Suddenly they become agressive and you better keep low profile while they show everybody that they have an anger management problem.

Maybe I should stop watch soccer live. I remember when AGF was in what the Americans would call world series - our superliga. When a team with name of Brøndby came to visit we were talking real riots and it could be certain death to watch them because they had local cops working for the supports of their team. The police did beat some Swedish fans real bad without provocation and boasted off it on Facebook some years ago.

I am getting older and wiser. I will try to talk Karl into buying a larger cable packet.

We had some kind of discussion yesterday. I had been out in town and then he started to complain about my mess, my touring of the town and discipline towards school.

I was told all kind of stories about how tough life could have been if he hadn’t taken me in. He even got a story about a girl from Oregon he and some other volunteers is trying to save from something he calls correctional boarding school. The girl got poor grades (It is not my problem) and her upperstrict parents is going to send this Morgan girl to a kind of “Efterskole” called Academy at Sisters. Once I looked at it I could see that it was somewhat tougher than the school I had been looking at when we was considering that option for me.

They cannot even go home during weekends and holidays. That awful strict just for poor grades.

I know that I have to play by my cousin’s rules. I just have to make it. Maybe when we reach Christmas my parents will allow me to move out by myself.

This morning I said farewell to my folks. They left so they can settle in good time before my father starts his work. As I properly wrote before he will be working in Frederick and they will be living in a small town called Mount Airy.

I has moved in with Karl. We are doing OK. He has been living alone for some time, so he has his habits. Sometime it is best to be out of his way. I have landed a job in supermarket where I move stuff around. It is good money and I like to spend them all in town, but I have to save some for the school year because once the school starts I will have to rely on the money my folks send home.

I hope to visit my parents in October.
