My father returns home

By sorenhanson on Jan 28, 2012

Due some court decision in Denmark a lot of Danes working in the United States will return home in the future including my father. I think that this brings an end to the chapter in my blog where I had to deal with living apart from my father, which I had done since my mother passed away until my father left for his job over in the U.S.

3 Danish businessmen were yesterday convicted of smugling some drugs to the United States. There was no evidence and they had made no money of their business and due to family connections and businesses which were going well they had no motive to smuggle drugs. But some criminals over in the United States got some huge discounts in exchange of testifying against the Danes, so they were convicted on these testimonies only.

So Danish firms are pulling Danes out of companies in the United States and hiring local workers instead which can be sacrificed much easier. Among those who will return is of course my father and I am so happy. He may have to settle for less pay or no job at all but even unemployment would be better than risking jail if one of his business connections feel like making a story up.

He will be back end february and then we must see if we can find a place to live together.

I just saw that a building company fired one of their employees because he spoke out against the traffic limit. That’s just awful. Speeding is very much what we Danes have left.

I believe that this building company he used to work for - Per Aasleff - should be avioded at all costs. They don’t treat their employees every well and I guess that they push their employees to work hard and get from work place to work place as fast as possible.

It is double standard and properly only a stunt for the marketing department.

Victimized families are protesting in Copenhagen November 3

Victimized families are protesting in Copenhagen November 3

I have been living with my cousin for some time. Then they came worried about me. It took my dad a lot of money to lawyers to fight them off. They just have too much power in our system. Often they don’t even listen to the courts.

I find it good that some parents will perform a public protest November 3 in Copenhagen.
